Joe's Remedies top tips for a better nights sleep.
Sleep

It's well known that sleep is vital for good performance. With such a fast-paced world, competition, and pressures it's likely still not a high enough priority for the majority.

In saying this maybe the way forward is quality of sleep compared to getting the eight hours in. That is not to say we are against eight, nine, or even ten sleep per night, we simply acknowledge that this may not be an option.

Like everything, some practices can be put into place to perfect your craft, and sleep is no different.

1. Clear your space.

Clear the space around you ”An organised environment is an organised mind”

2. Stay on top of everything

Mabey you are a perfectionist and want every little task completed before you get your Zzzs. Identify what needs to be done, perhaps create two to-do lists, one with your major commitments, and one with your less pressing commitments.

3. Wind yourself down toward the end of your day

This may seem like an obvious one, but it's important to identify what acts allow you to wind down and what acts may be hindering your sleep.

This is completely dependent on the individual but at Joe's Remedies we suggest;

1. Setting a time to stop eating, ideally a few hours before sleep.

2. A very brief period of inhaling /exhaling (5-10 seconds), longer if you wish. With such as basic time-efficient exercise you almost have to give this a go!

3. One last look at your to-do list, this will put you in good stead, and a good routine for the following days - planning is always a good idea!

4. Accept that no one is a machine and you are going to have off days. The key to this is being aware and being mindful.

Aim to get your tasks done with urgency, if this is not possible make sure you are aware and reminded that a task needs to be completed. Ideally without creating an insurmountable series of tasks.

An insurmountable series of tasks is going to require an insurmountable amount of effort,

Sincerely,

Joe's Remedies
