Using your less predominant hand for minuscule tasks i.e. using the phone etc has been shown to potentially build new neural connections. Could this be one of the most natural, cost-effective ways of boosting cognition and potentially protecting yourself years down the line?

Using your less predominant hand may take getting some used to, but the vital point to remember in doing this is that you are naturally rewiring and enhancing your system.

If you are into self-development this is certainly the task for you! We are setting you a task to use your less predominant hand and report the effects you have from this i.e

Are you surprised with how quickly you can learn to use your less predominant hand for minuscule tasks?

Do you find your ability to multitask is greater since you started doing this?

Please leave a comment below and let us know how you get on! If there are any neuroscientists out there let us know your thoughts on this!

Using your less predominant hand when using your phone, and updating your social media is a good example of a minuscule task.

However don't limit yourself to this, whether it's lifting weights or any other task you may carry out please feel free to implement this technique into whatever task you can.

Examples of minuscule tasks;
